Business Cards are a company's best friend, their most valuable marketing tool and an essential element to becoming unforgettable. I have been using the internet for a number of years now, but I have never came across a UK web site that is totally dedicated to promoting local business using business cards. Until now, welcome to localbusinesscards.co.uk
My name is Alex and I will be building and adding the content to this new web site over the coming months and hopefully years. Listing a business card on this site is totally FREE and will remain FREE, that is our promise. We will sustain the cost of running the site, until we can attract some good quality advertisers to the site. When this happens we will not fill the site with lots of obtrusive advertisements. Sponsors will be able to put a well-placed advertisement banner at the bottom of the navigation menu on the left. The main focus of the site is to promote your local business using your business cards.
To be honest I did not know where to begin, as the site is in its infancy, I wanted to start with good quality business cards but with so many types of businesses using cards where do we start?. My decision was to begin with the top 10 local businesses that people search for, this is based on studying a local web site I host in my home town. The site has been established for a number of years now, so there is a definite trend. I will be adding more types of business later, but I feel this is a good starting point. Over the coming months I will contact these businesses to start to build a quality online business card directory.
Adding your business cards
It is simple to add your card to this site. Just email us a good quality scanned image of your card or alternately contact us and we will supply you with our postal address, then pop it in an envelope and send it to us, its that easy and remember this service is totally FREE. As the site grows we will be introducing different ways to display your business cards, if you would like to submit your card, contact us and we will have it online the same day as we receive it.
